All About North Brisbane Pool Care

Our Story

North Brisbane Pool Care first began in 2009, Duane had one service ute and a handful of regular customers. This business was first operating as a mobile pool servicing business that operated out of Duane’s garage. Then six months later an opportunity came along to purchase a client base from another pool company. This allowed the business to grow and add new clients to our mobile pool service run. His wife Amanda who is a qualified bookkeeper helped with the paperwork and direction of the business.

To grow the business further, we used the local messenger to let people in the community know of our services offered in the local area. We also launched our first website and online advertising campaign. With persistence and hard work, our clientele grew and customers were happy with the wealth of knowledge Duane could offer in problem-solving, equipment, and chemical supplies delivered right to the doorstep. We also expanded our services offering Pre-purchase pool inspections and handovers.

In 2012 we employed our first staff member to help with the workload of the expanding customer clientele. Duane’s father-in-law was also helping out in the pool servicing business.

In 2014 we developed our online social media platform through facebook and Instagram. The garage storage space became too small so the business was moved to a storage unit in the local area. Our service run was expanding outside of the local area and now picking up cliental on the Southside of Brisbane.

In 2018 another pool service run was purchased which expanded the cliental all over Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Our storage unit became too small which was then upgraded to a commercial building in the local area. This is when we opened the doors to the retail side allowing customers to come into our storage unit and buy chemicals direct from us. We also had upgraded our utes from two to six and extra staff to keep up with the demand.

In 2020 North Brisbane Pool Care decide to set up a retail space and open a complete shop with warehousing. This has led us to where we are now. We owe a lot of credit to our supplier for helping us with the fit out and professional looking approach.

We are very proud of the journey we have been on in the pool industry and enjoy providing the best customer service and support to our cliental. Nothing makes us more happy than happy customers enjoying the benefits of a pool.
